God: glorified His Son…
Luke 23:39-43 (KJV) “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise”.
Do you remember any time in your life when you were just anti -anything; the premise and findings to justify an issue was right in your face yet you denied the veracity of it? I believe that is the case with many of us in this life.
We have an objectionable spirit and find ways and means of justifying objections to issues; there is nothing wrong with that as I think a good argument keeps our blood pumping for the right reason.
When it gets ugly is when the thing we deny is that which gives life; believing in the Son of God. Yes, that can get ugly at times; but one promise from God is that, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, is factual and it doesn’t matter, in this life or at the judgment, tongues will admit to His existence.
Win this battle with grace my friend…..
