Having done all you can….

fed by God

God: will do what you can’t do….

Luke 17:10 (KJV) “So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do”.

It is our expectation as members of the body of Christ to “DO”; it is part of the task we enable to take on as we do this journey. It might seem that the things we do are without reward or gratitude by those we labor to push through in their trials and toils, but recognition for anything we do will not be highly visible in this world.

But by God, when we stand before our Lord on that day of reckoning, it will be a different story and we will know the value of our works.

Beloved do what you have to do as if you are doing it for Jesus and God who sees all our works will do HIs part in rewarding you. As we wind down today, take a look at the words in the song written so long ago, but rings through as a reminder for what we are experiencing today. May the good Lord keep and bless you…

He’ll Understand and Say Well Done (Lucie E. Campbell)

If when you give the best of your service
Telling the world that the Saviour has come
Be not dismayed when men don’t believe you
He’ll understand and say well done
Misunderstood the Saviour of sinners
Hung on the cross He was God’s only son
Oh, hear Him calling His Father in Heaven
Let not my will, but Thine be done.
Oh when I come to the end of my journey
Weary of life and the battle is won
Carrying the staff and the cross of redemption
He’ll understand and say well done
