Are you easily wearied?

horse run

God: gives strength for the journey….

Jeremiah 12:5 (KJV) “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan”?

It is plain easy to give up when the going gets rough and the attacks you face become pinching darts on your flesh, making it appear as if a perpetual army of ants is biting you; so do you give up at times like these and take your eyes off the prize?

The manifest we have to deal with as believers on any given day is not going to be simple or easy; the trials we go through will never be light to bear, but if we look at any one individual who God has called and with the expectation to go a deeper dimension, the preparation period will be, no doubt about it, be harsh, difficult, tumultuous, whatever difficult and striving word you want to call it.

But it will be worth it after a while. The prophet Jeremiah never knew that so many years after he told God that “you tricked me” that it would be a highlight for many Christians to know that you can talk to God on things you find not just in your life especially when you think God should have prevented the attack.

But what God did was use his fight to show us that there is a purpose for what just happened and inspite of your pain, there will be a recompense even I justify you after all.

Beloved, fight the good fight of faith….
