Psalms 46:1-5 (KJV) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early”.
It might seem as if help for our troubles is not available; that the things we go through is never ending; that those who oppress and mistreat us gets the upper hand every time, but God is present all the time: His coverage over our lives never fails.
We might question the lack of response at times when we cry out, but my friend, God has said it and I believe that He is a refuge for our souls forever. Trust Him for the fact that you have made it this far.
