It’s hard to accept, but it’s the truth…

God confirms His words

God: inserted His spirit into His words…..they are life…

1 John 2:3-5 (KJV) “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him”.

You speak to Christians who have been Christians so long they have perfected the art of not being perfect before Christ. They have reasons, rationale and from their perspective solid explanations why it is not reasonable to be perfect in Christ; but I believe if Jesus said it is possible then somehow He must know what He is talking about.

Being perfect takes steps and a lot of assistance from the Holy Spirit; and let us not negate the value of knowing Jesus who will bring all things to fruition. It is a very scary prospect to say you are a believer, but have not any relationship with Jesus: He is the most important aspect of the equation.

For if we believe and don’t know this man, it is just as easy to walk away from Him, because you never knew Him. THe bottom line in this equation is that it takes work like any other relationship that is important to you and if its taken for granted, you just might lose it.

Might sound weird, but take a look at many of the Christians who have turned their backs on the very foundation of their existence in the claim that they don’t believe in God. This is scary on so much levels and it shows that many lives have been lived in vain.

Beloved if you know Him and He has made himself known to you, take it to the next level; seek for Him with all your heart and in His words He said you will find Him.
