It isn’t made up….it’s the truth…

God: established the truth. the whole truth…and nothing but the truth…

2 Peter 1:16-17 (KJV) “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

I am always surprised when I meet people who don’t believe in Jesus or don’t want to even hear His name mentioned in conversation; yet at times when some of them speak there is such great dreams coming from their mouths, but they deny the one who can bring it to fruition in its fulness.

But to believe in Jesus isn’t to want to be in relationship with him for what He can give to us, but for who He is and for the fact that He spoke and it is. Believing in Jesus speaks to the base knowledge triumphing over the intelligence found in the world and in the fact that there is an existence beyond this one that we currently inhabit.

The foolish things of this world He took to confound those who consider themselves wise in the eyes of the world; worldly wisdom would tell you that there is no God, but that my friend is one instance of a person being confounded by a simplistic truth that there has to be a God or else living is in vain.

But we can’t speak on things which we have not known, but of a truth, if there was no God, no Jesus, no pardon, no grace, no shed blood and no repentance we would all be of men most miserable.

Do you believe in a fable, a tale, something cunningly devise OR do you believe with your heart, your soul and your mind that He who have brought you this far is alive and exist deeper than your being? Have you met the Lord? Would you recognize Him when next He approaches your soul?

My friend, He is real and He is still living within us today.

The majority of the people who met Jesus when on earth enjoyed the benefits of what he could do for them but rejected what he said they needed to do.

If they had understood that this man raised the dead, fed the multitudes and cured all diseases and he would do that for all humanity they could not have stood by and let him be killed.

Jesus made it plain that not everyone would love him, in fact most would hate him and they will hate those who follow him. Modern Christianity has diluted Jesus message therefore no one needs to listen because it has no meaning.

Yet as you say he is alive and poised to act. So look for those who are Christians, living to standards that are difficult to maintain and the majority ridicule some even hated just for publishing the Good News of Gods Kingdom.

Then you have found those with a relationship with Jesus today.
