Grace and more grace….

strategy

God: had a plan with grace…

1 Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

One songwriter said, “Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home”; and truthfully, we can all join in with the writer and ask ourselves, where would we be without the grace that Christ died and enabled for us?

We sin without compunction at times and it’s only when we get an urging by the spirit of God we can admit to that wrong and correct it when we chose to do so; God help us when our consciences are seared with a very hot iron and we reach a place of darkness where the very promptings to repent from our sins can’t reach us.

It is almost as if we have malfunctioning GPS and it won’t register wrong. But as for this grace which is prone to abuse by the believer it has generated the saving of souls which many of us can attest to a ready acceptance.

Today my words to encourage myself is prayerfully thanking God for being such an intelligent Father; he knew and saw my faults even before I came to being and He put a safeguard into place. This is our God is awesome; may He receive some worthy praises even tonight.
