Recognize your authority and exercise it…

God: has granted you authority to do…

Romans 8:17 (KJV) “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”.

As a new member of the body of Christ it can be trying to understand everything that you need to know and it does take time to grasp it all, but what is difficult for the new converted to understand is who they are in Christ and the authority they have now stepped into.

Christ is the supreme authority in the world and He not only spoke it but demonstrated it when He went to the womb of the earth and took captivity captive in the most brutal fight ever to take place in eternity. He won the battle against principalities and powers and they bowed to the infinite power of God Almighty.

So when He instructs us to be still and know that He is God in all your problems; what He is telling you is that even as He won the battle against alternate forces and powers, your problems, your situations, your affliction is but light affliction to the attention He will take on.

Your name is printed on the palm of His hand according to what He told the Prophet Isaiah; He has moved you from inconsequential to the importance in His eyes.  His angels have special instructions in regards to you and He will enforce protection for your benefit.

When you suffer in this world, keep heart for He knows the intent and the future and has it all mapped out for your benefit. Beloved rejoice in it all for He knows the plans He has for you.

Trivia: Scripture reveal that God was on a mount and was surrounded by a certain number of angels; what mount and how many angels surrounded Him?
