At that time, He was carrying you….

God: our Father, Abba Father He is…

Psalm 40:2 (KJV) “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

Many of us can testify to those periods in our lives when we felt and knew that we were at the bottom of a barrel; things whichever way we turned was bitter and of none effect. We almost would wish as if we were not a part of this world, especially when you look around and everyone else appeared to be moving on with their lives by leaps and bounds and they were for all appearance and purposes where you would love to be.

It might have been that you were experiencing a temporary glitch in your relationship with God and the communication factor was missing; but through it all you must have realized that God was holding your hands when you were weak.

In this relationship, the attacks, the down feelings, the morose and sorrowful times will come, but God is real and He is faithful in all that He has promised to do for and through us. So if you are reading this I know it is designed and it is for a purpose. Bad times will come again and again, but when you can’t carry yourself, know that God will carry you even as He lifts you up from the miry place or sorrow.

Trivia: Scripture reveal that God was on a mount and was surrounded by a certain number of angels; what mount and how many angels surrounded Him?
