God: continues to make us wonder…
Isaiah 33:5 “The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness”.
We live our lives seasons upon seasons without paying attention to God, even as believers we never take the time for long periods of time to get into His space and figure out the million and one variance to who He is and then sometimes it hits us that our existence comes from something, someone that is much bigger than we are in this world.
Then we get to wondering things about Him; I say “things” because to pinpoint how to figure out what He is about is something that gets your mind from one extreme to the next. You start thinking, yes I feel Him in that, but is that Him as well; we know Him in His bounty, His grace, His love toward us which can be something pretty wonderful and awesome, but there is just more.
Then I stumble upon this verse, which really doesn’t give you all, but it gives you enough to soothe the hunger pangs of curiosity: He is exalted; higher than any thought, any existence, any minute fragments. He created and still rules in eternity and space.
He calls and has invited everyone (whosoever will), but has those set aside who has responded to His invite with zeal and love: He just is that unfathomable; He is God.
Trivia: Scripture reveal that God was on a mount and was surrounded by a certain number of angels; what mount and how many angels surrounded Him?
