God: is bigger than we can figure out or comprehend…
Psalm 103:8-13 (KJV) “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger forever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him”.
Throughout history God has given us hints, suggestions and directives on who He is and his character; He has expressed how He wants to be with us relationship wise and one thing you walk away with is the understanding that He is truly a Holy God, full of mercy and gracious to us when we are so contrary in our behavior to Him and to others.
His attribute demonstrates that He is quite unlike anyone on this earth for He embodies the infinite grace and possibilities we are unable to succor in our contacts and affiliation. As a supreme Father, He distributes blessings to us according to power He has at His disposal and in actuality, He is power.
He expresses toward us with a limitless bounty that if we are really paying attention, we could never ever receive at any other time or without His authorization. He does this once and for all without compunction as His character and His word states.
So much like an earthly father, our Father which art in heaven has created and He sustain and He brings to pass beyond the capability of any entity on earth. This God our Father, how wonderful is He and continues forever more.
