The light within penetrates

Cozumel

God: is the source of the light within us…

Proverbs 20:27 (KJV) “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly”.

I just love how the word of God breaks things down so that when you read it, there is a broadening in your understanding and a simplification of some things which have puzzled for a while. When the word tells us that “Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forever” (Heb 13:8) it might be a difficult concept to grasp, but when you read in the OT the moving of the spirit of God and you fast forward to NT and His workings are the same yet so much more magnified it brings about some clarity to the unique behavior of God.

We have the testimony of King Solomon who identified and got a glimpse of the workings of the God spirit within us, as He impress or plants His spirit within us as a light to discern our very thoughts in the OT as seen from our reading today, “the spirit of man is the candle of Lord”. Today that same spirit is working to clean, renew, rejuvenate and bring us to an expected end.

God does that thing He does so magnificently; He made us, yet hasn’t left us alone to perish or drown by the side. He made a deposit within us to keep us and to stamp His seal of approval on our hearts and as His own. This is by far the best Father a girl can ever know, He within me and I am in Him to honor and glorify His name.

New Trivia: We are told “in all your getting, get” what are we advised to get?
