I have the gift: now what?

doubting is

God:gifts us for the edification of the body of Christ…

Genesis 12:7 (KJV) “And the Lord appeared to unto Abram, and said, unto they seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared to him”.

How precious it is now that we are able to have a direct and clear communication with our Father in heaven and appreciate the fact that He guides us and leads us through the direction of His spirit. We live in a dispensation where the spirit of God is being poured out on humanity, yet it is not for our personal benefit, it is so that the body of Christ can be edified.

I am often amazed at the humility which Abraham dealt with the direction, promises and interactions he had with Almighty God and the obedience which he didn’t feign in following the requests which God made of him.

We live in a different time, but it is still the same God who specializes in visiting, interacting and communicating His desires and wishes to us His people; but even as we are concerned about ourselves, we need to remember that when God blesses us in His time, resources and gifts, it is so that the entire body be edified and grow.

God is preparing us for the return of His son who has gone to prepare a place for us; but in our getting, let us get the understanding that we all make up parts of a greater body and even as Jesus cares for one, His concern spreads to all parts of the body. My friend, let us be accountable of the gifts which God has blessed us with and continues to bestow upon us, we will have to give a recording of our actions in a time to come.

New Trivia: We are cautioned to “remember” someone in the days of our youth; who is this?
