God: made allowance for that as well…
James 5:1, 4 (KJV) “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your field, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth”.
When we came to the Lord and legally become a part of the body of Christ, it isn’t by luck or chance; it is because we come when we answer the call to be in union with Him. The good thing about answering is that He has put into place guidelines so that we aren’t left in the dark on how to proceed and to top it off, His spirit is a constant guide to lead us into all truth, which is one of the prerequisites for this walk.
As such, even as you are able to find words of promises when you are discomforted, there are words for sickness, loneliness, and as we read in today’s reading, a rich deposit for those being robbed of their wages by unjust employers.
When the burdens of being treated unfairly comes upon us at times in the workplace, it can move us to cry, to complain, to rage and even to doing tardy job instead of the best that you can do. But even in this instance when God said “vengeance is mine, I will repay” in this He will fight your battles. When your wages are compromised because of greed, know that God will fight for you.
Even as you meditate on words for healing and other situation, find those that will address this situation as well for it was created for such a time as this. And the Lord Sabaoth will rise up in battle on your behalf: this is the word of God.
