It still works and prevails….

God feels pain also

GOd: made allowance for that in the shedding of blood..

Ephesians 1:7-8 (KJV) “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence”.

The theory or thought that to gain life eternal by our own initiative is beyond laughable, but at times we meet folks who fight very hard to portray such a life. This isn’t to give anyone a license to act as if effort and life living is out of date; what is needed is the recognition that life living is God living.

He gave us guidelines on what is expected and how to do it and that is what and how we ought to apply in our lives. We know that we have a sin nature and this will try to superimpose itself on our actions, we need not give into it as long as we are guided by God. The most difficult task we have as we live this life is knowing what God requires of us; He already provided that in His blueprint, so when we have downloaded the “word” into our hearts it is activated when we face challenges.

We don’t have to walk this road alone, neither is this a fight we conduct in our own will, but our saving grace and mercy is through the blood of Jesus Christ who took into consideration our sin nature and our weak tendencies. Many times we make statements such as “I never will” and shortly after we find ourselves in such a predicament.

But by the grace of God at our weakness and our sin nature; let it not be said that the blood could not prevail, because at all points it is made available to the believer.

New Trivia: We are cautioned to “remember” someone in the days of our youth; who is this?

Remember my creator in the days of my youth. Paraphrased

“I never will” – if I never “allow”

  3. Denine Taylor says:

“I never will” or I never would, or that would never happen to me. Made that mistake once or twice. I have found, temptation isn’t temptation if your not tempted. It is then we find what we are made of. Sometime we prevail and sometime we fail, but He never leaves us or forsakes us. By His strength we get back up and try again.
