Chance of a lifetime: better make it good….(Reflection)

one chance only

God: offers us the impossible at times….

1 King 3:5 (KJV) “In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee”.

In our walk as believers, at times especially in the initial stage when we are young in the relationship, it is difficult to grasp or understand exactly what we are entered into. We know in the bigger scheme of things, that there is a choice between hell and heaven and we have a intuitive feel for the darkness or hell and the promises of heaven and with our built in detector, if we have made the choice to serve God, know we don’t want to go to hell.

It is that simple at that stage, but in life there is growth and we go through different things which will either break us or help us develop into well adjusted Christians. One other thing which grows out of this is a deeper communication with the Lord.

But what if as the relationship grows you should get a visitation like that which King Solomon received and you were granted the option of one thing in life that would define you and that is a guarantee; what will be your answer?

This is a post for contemplation, reflection on the possibility of what can come your way; you might be in this relationship for a while and it’s a little ho hum at the moment, but one thing I know about God: His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. So as I like to say and actually believe: if He did it for one He can do it for another. So beloved, what would be your answer; what is your desire?

New Trivia: They moaned the lack of their little sister’s lack of mammary development; who is it; where is it found?
