411: I lied before I found the antidote…..

lying

God: requires truth at all times….

Psalm 51:6 (KJV) “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom”.

We all fudge things every now and again and it might not be intentional; it could be that we get caught off guard and without thinking say the first thing which comes to our brain and it happens to be not truthful, bam you are fibbing: you know that you ought to catch yourself very quickly and correct the statement in as calm a manner as possible because it happens to the best of us at all time.

That’s an attitude and measure which we sometimes find happening, but it becomes chronic when if it occurs and we don’t do anything about it; we allow it to past and think, better will be done the next time.

I am thinking that we all know this, but just to put it out there again, God approves of reparation and especially in a case like this where the words coming out of our mouth will cause His spirit which abides within us to grieve or shudder, we need to correct it, make an apology and attempt not to get caught up in the habit of lying or joking; whichever way we choose to view it.

The word of God makes it plain that this inner man we have, the inward part of our being needs to be pure, to do so, don’t allow the things you are doing on the outside corrupt what measure of purity you have, because it takes more time trying to do a cleansing than just abstaining from engaging in bad habits of patterns of wrongdoing.

He requires it because when He is ready to download information into your system, there ought not to be any barrier to the communication getting through. My friend, if God treasures you so much to want to interact, I think we can make an effort to keep it right; don’t you?
