Goal: Keeping my eyes focused on my own and not another….

God:has enough to bless me, you and everyone else…

Hebrews 13:5-6 (KJV) “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”.

At times we go through periods where there is a slight lack in our lives; we have just enough to get us through day by day and in our eyes not enough to do extra. But somehow extra is done and the time passes and although we squeezed through lack, it didn’t destroy us.

Some days we thought we might expire from the things we have in our thoughts to accomplish, but not enough funds to do them with, and it might have gotten frustrating at times, a bit of stress here and some deep contemplative thoughts in different moments, but we made it through.

We might have wondered how we made it through; the unseen benefactors who at times provided without you asking; the gifts from strangers, friends, and unexpected places to add to the relative financial balancing act you were conducting, but we did make it through.

Today as we look at our situations, our gains, losses, the highs and lows: let us look at what we each have, not at someone’s situations or what they have, but at what we have been blessed with and for that which we have, it is bountiful: let us be grateful to our Heavenly Father above who have chosen to bless us above measure from his trove of treasures.

Look to the giver and not what is happening at your breakfast table for He is the one providing; yes you might be doing the daily commute, the work at the office, the accomplishments, but without Him it would not be possible. It is Him who gives your hands the strength and skills to do and gain and fight another day.

I guess the take away from what is written today is all good and perfect gifts come from the Father in heaven. So let your days be without complaint for God our Father esteems and equip us as He sees fit.

New Trivia: They moaned the lack of their little sister’s lack of mammary development; who is it; where is it found?
