God: offers varying opportunities for us….
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”
Many of us as individuals holding varying titles in our lives and in the lives of others share something integral: we like to plan. Planning and setting short and long term goals is like second nature to us and if we don’t plan, then it is as if our world’s fall apart.
The unsettling part of this scenario is that at times we plan outside of the timing for things to occur in our lives. Sometimes you speak to folks and they are positive that it is the right time for them to accomplish certain major life altering plans: making a baby, settling down, building or buying a house, car etc.
Then a couple years into it, realize that certain things needed or that should have been put in place was not activated, so the plans fall awry. Sad, but a true epidemic which we are hit with, but as the word of God tells us today, there is a time for every said thing on the face of the earth and everything has a season.
If we are operating in the season designated by God to operate in us and through us according to His will, purpose, plan and design for our lives, then the tools to accomplish that which we want: again when our desires is in league with His plans, will be smoothly transitioned.
Word of God tells us, to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Philippians 4:6 KJV). My friend, let your expectations be tempered by patience, because we want to enjoy that which we put our hands to and not be in a hurry to put things into our lives which will derail our future.
There is nothing wrong with dreaming, but some dreaming, some praying and a barrel of mustard seed faith will get us to the point where we are walking in compliance with God’s will and way for our lives.
