God: makes a way when there is not any foreseeable way….
Hebrews 12:3 (KJV) “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds”.
The best of us have had times in our lives when it seems the attacks against us, our minds, even attacks against those who pertain to us just seem intensive and never ending; at least when we are going through them.
We pray, rebuke, discharge and they keep pressing in upon us as if trying to superimpose a permanent fixture of the situation on our persons. It’s at times like these that we can remember the promises of God quoted in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) “There hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it”.
It is reassuring that what is coming against us is so fitly packaged that we as individuals were designed to handle what is being thrown at us; it also demonstrates that God who created us, knows our make-up, our DNA and has put things into place to allow our success in the face of so much disturbances.
Take into consideration as well the reading for today and how the writer points out so fitly what Jesus went through and the numerous attacks He came under when He walked this earth, certain death warrants placed for Him even before His birth and subsequent demands for His life when He walked this earth and still He had joy in what was ordained for Him to accomplish. He kept on loving, living, teaching, healing, all that was placed on His plate, He consumed it and then some according to the word of God.
My friend, think it not strange the things that we will undergo as we walk through this life, but be blessed that you have a Savior who have been through it all and is now sitting on the right hand of our Father who is in heaven. He has never and will never leave us nor forsake us.
