God: works it out for His glory…
Isaiah 66:5 (KJV) “Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed”
Favor is not equal and I truly don’t believe it is a case of lack of humility; what am I speaking about? At times you see young brothers and sisters in the body of Christ and they are endowed with crazy anointing and skilled in areas where you know for a fact that the hand of the Lord is upon them; yet these gifts are not nurtured for the edification of the body.
Many times, I have observed and experienced weird cases where they through machination and manipulation get pushed to the wire. It is almost as if because of the gifts they ought to endure persecution better than the next brother or sister. This is an egregious abuse within the church and I believe God will raise a standard so high even as we approach his pending return.
Remember I stated that I was referring to young members in the body; they are at the stage where they are learning, experiencing and dealing with changes in their bodily growth and at the same time having to conceptualize the fact that they have a calling upon their lives that the normal child isn’t dealing with.
Should they be pressured and put under unrealistic demands that will cause a Jonah effect with them running as far as the body, when they should be encouraged and shown methods of dealing with what they are carrying? By this I refer to the mothers and elders in zion praying them through and interceding for them to the point that they become contributing members.
The scripture today speaks on how these acts are dealt with by God; many of us fail to understand and recognize that when we mistreat anyone in the body of Christ, it is most assuredly done to Christ Himself and the word indicates that when it is perpetrated; when they cast you out from the body; when they bring undue pressure upon you as a result of envy and jealousy as a result of the favor, the gifts, the anointing that you are working in, they are fighting against God and He states that He will turn the situation around and will gain the glory in it all.
Gifts in the body are mentioned in detail in 1 Corinthians 13 (KJV) and when one is favored in one area, there is another to do something else and God truly believes in balancing the playing field because no man is an island and can do everything for God. Different functions, different bodily parts and different interactions.
If by chance you might have fell into the category of castigating any of those young in the faith especially those gifted repent quickly and make restitution. It’s a difficult thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
