God:does surgery ever so often on our lives, body and soul…
John 15:2 (KJV) “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit”.
It can be difficult at times when you are in the faith and you believe that you are at a place where things should be going uphill and your feet are established in what you believe God has called you to do in the body of Christ. Then it gets difficult and you come across a morass of issues which creates doubts in your mind as to your direction.
Issues can sometimes be God’s way of pruning you and preparing you for bigger issues later on in life. If you aren’t able to deal with the small issues then the bigger problems will bring you quickly to your knees; it will cause you to wobble, stumble and question that which you believe.
We question things we see in the church and in our lives, and questions are good, but what if the questions we are asking aren’t the right questions as it relates to what is happening? Things happen and we feel the pain and the hurt, but if God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, it stands to reason that while we are going through, He is right there in the midst to guide us and we can get answers to that which is occurring.
The pruning season we go through as things, people and relationships are taken out of our lives can be very hurtful and when we resist what God is doing, those things we try to hold unto can become detrimental to us after a while, especially when the removal is guided by the hands of God.
When divine changes are in motion, be cooperative and prepare your mind, soul and spirit to release that which is being purged away from your life, so that new, good and better things will spring forth. God has a time and season for everything in our lives and we can operate out of His will when we resist the changes that He is incorporating.
Beloved, be in God’s will and in agreement with His design and see the changes that will break out in your life.
