What’s your fix? An attitude of gratitude consistently…

words of my mouth

God: esteems grace to the humble..

Luke 17:15 (KJV) “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, “were there not tens cleansed, but where are the nine”?

I got to thinking and trying to figure stuff out and I wondered whether the person who can be thankful is more humble or I shouldn’t affix the “more” before the word; just leave it as: whether the person who is able to be thankful is humble in spirit and not the person who is not.

Perhaps that person who goes around taking things for granted and those who are blessed and believe it is because they are entitled have the concept that no action is needed when  blessings befall them.

I know that even as Jesus enquired about the whereabouts of those who had been healed without uttering a word of thanksgiving; it ought to be a hint that displays of thanks should be the norm.

What have you given thanks for today and what are you thankful? Be one of those in the minority and give thanks for all good and marvelous things.
