God: expresses His will for us…
1 Peter 2:15 (KJV) “For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men”.
Our desires, our wishes, our needs tend to be forefront of what we plan on a daily basis; what if we did a reverse and consulted with Jesus and put in requests to have His desires, wishes and needs drive our operations before the day starts.
That would be a pretty great concept, especially when the will of God is to engage the world with His beauty and good deeds and intentions. Not negating that obstacles will come to prevent you from being diligent in accomplishing this will of God.
But the fact of the matter is if you keep in the back of your mind that the intent is to silence the foolishness of those who seek to doubt the existence of God and His manifest presence, this will be added motivation to accomplish His will.
If it seems that it will be a fight to do the will of God as He expresses it, the guaranteed method of accomplishing it is to ask for the wisdom and strength to make it into a reality. He will not turn you aside.
