God: offers instructions freely and liberally….
Proverbs 4:13-15 (KJV) “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
I always like to think that nothing in my life happens by mistake; if I am at a certain location, there has to be a purpose why God has me there; if I am talking to any individual at any time of the day that is also not a chance occurrence and there has to be a reason why it has been orchestrated. The times of our lives are not wasted opportunities and the interactions we have with each other have to be purposeful.
As such, I would also believe that wisdom, knowledge and understanding integral ingredients which are wanted commodities for our existence in this world. The word of God informs us that the person who has embraced these entities would hold fast to instructions; they would cherish being instructed in the way in which they ought to go and when they receive these precious goods, hold unto it with dear life.
At times we tend to get bright ideas on dealing with situations, doing things, excellent ideologies which we believe can be turned into a work of art; yet wisdom would be applicable in knowing how to accomplish and get the most out of these. If this is lacking, we would run into numerous errors and mistakes along the way.
In this life, the choices we make today will dictate what happens to us tomorrow; the people that we come in contact with and how we treat and interact with them can be the determining factor of some important effort you want to succeed in tomorrow. But in applying wisdom, the word tells us that when we discern or is aware that a person has a wicked demeanor, to avoid such folks, walk as far away as possible from them as possible.
Invoke the shade of protection on your eyes and thread not in the path of the wicked no matter how tempting and inviting the goods they have to share with you. Even the path that they trod will be forbidden.
Some things are understood, yet understanding of these things isn’t common denominator with all folks. Beloved, the Word of God is for instruction and direction and for the assurance of a good life; take and apply it diligently.
