The world can’t receive it….

peace of Jesus

God:the author of my kind of peace....

John 14:27 (KJV) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.

When Jesus walked this earth, He was accused of many things, one of those things being to call Himself the son of God, likening Himself to God which in the eyes of some was totally sacrilege.

Boldness taken to another level is another view of what was happening. But how do we know that the liberty taken was truthful? One way to look at what Jesus brought to the table is to understand what you take away in your belief of Him.

Can you receive something that is not factual? The answer would be no; but Jesus said, “peace I leave with you”. Great, that’s awesome in theory, but practically, when the torment of hell lives in your atmosphere and you take the time to call out to Jesus and immediately, not some hours after or even days after, but in that moment, a calm peace invades your space, your thoughts become clearer and nothing seems to affect your sense of stillness.

My friend the peace of God is at work. Jesus called it and it became evident. Hold unto it as a believer; claim it as your right and let no one take it away. You have been given the gift of peace from your father in heaven.

His peace He has given to you, not the world. Lay hold unto it.

New Trivia: She gave him milk then killed him. Who is this?
