Matthew 5:1-2 (KJV) “And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying”.
In our work of ministering to others, many of us avoid the bright lights or we are comfortable discussing the word of God to others on a one on one basis and this may be all we will ever be able to accomplish as it relates to sharing the word of God.
I didn’t say that there was anything wrong with this type of evangelizing; as a matter of fact, the angels in heaven never rejoiced when a sermon is preached because you can’t preach better than Jesus; they don’t rejoice when you do some type of deliverance.
The scripture says heaven rejoices when one sinner is brought to God; how about that? So if your anointing is to win souls one testimony at a time: do it with the blessing of the Lord.
Looking at Jesus, He was Lord over all and He had no inhibition with ministering to folks; He met you at a well and talked your head off, then tell you a little bit about your life which you thought was hidden.
He would reach you on a country road and deliver you of all the demons which were tormenting you; and in the process of time when He met you casually, He provided for you spiritually.
Jesus we could say, was a one in a million; may it be said of us when have long gone to our rest that we did the difficult, the unusual, the outstanding for our Lord and Savior. Let the words on our lives be stout that even when they are read would cause conviction in the hearts of the listeners.
May the life that we live bring forth souls for the kingdom of heaven of heaven and that is my desire for you all. Go forth and win souls for the kingdom, in Jesus name.
