I never knew…wow….

alarm

God: works in so many mysterious ways...

Sound the Alarm (Joel 2:1-2 KJV)

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

You must have known that the things you have gone through, the warfare, the attacks, and the unseen threats on your life, all that you experience have been because you are in the biggest spiritual warfare of your life.

I know that what I am about to say will impact some of you at different levels because things were happening and you just brushed it off as “that’s life” or it’s normal occurrences. Well truth be told, it wasn’t normal and you need to pay attention and get to the root of the events.

I’m going to run through some scenarios and just check yourself if they might have happened: you got attacked in the womb; you almost died when you were born or in the process of the birthing; you were always sickly as a child; you came to verge of death on not one, two, three, but several times throughout your lifetime. And up to today, there appears to be accusation written across your forehead as everyone at one point or another look at you as a target. Oh yes, the adversary knew about your potential so he tried to get you out-of-the-way.

Beloved the view you have of the world is way more advanced than your years; you don’t fit in with what your friends are doing, as a matter of fact, they think you are so weird and you live with it because it is what it is.

Well what if God was preparing you way before you were born for special appointment; what if you were the one destined to “sound the alarm” in your dispensation; what if God in His wisdom has ordained in the spirit realm to accomplish something which the nations of the world will benefit from; what if your assignment is to take up the trumpet and be the horn blower for Zion, for God’s people? What if?

What if the darkness, the gloominess, the cloudiness pervading this world was established so that YOU could start blowing that gospel trumpet and sending out the warning as the Israelites did when they came out of Egypt; when Joshua conquered the walls of Jericho as God is instructing His Prophet Joel in this reading; what if?

My God, I know some of you have that deep abiding burning and thirsting within you which cannot be quenched; you live in a state of uneasiness with your natural self because you know in your spirit that there is more for you to; there is more to your life than what you are doing; there is much more God created you for in this world. Yet, yet, yet.

Whoever this was meant for, you know what has been happening with you; this is just a prompting to get with your Father and know that you know that you know. Get with Him, the trumpet is waiting.

Trivia: He pulled out his hair, threw himself on the ground and refrained from eating because of sin; who is this?
