Memo: He’s coming….

king is coming

God: orchestrated and designed a triumphant entry for His Son..

Matthew 21:5 (KJV) “Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass”.

Revelations 19: 11-13“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God”.

You get to meditating at times and you God shares His company with you in those times when you seek Him; things roll across your senses which can be warming, funny, serious, pensive. It’s not your thoughts, its snippets of information you get from your friend.

I got this reinforcement in my spirit that Jesus is coming back for me; He has gone to prepare a place, a kingdom, a place to be as we haven’t ever been in our lives. I get to picturing how He was described in Matthew 21:5 and I needed some more so I looked further into Revelation 19: 11-13 and I got more than I seeking. A million and one things are happening in the world today, but none of it matters at this moment except for this relevant fact: The King is coming.

This isn’t about much about writing today, but humility; I feel small, humbled. For God so loved the world (me and you) that He sent His only begotten Son (for you and I); for whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. You have to believe in Him and you will receive what He has for you.

I posted the lyrics to a song I knew when I was a child and it just came slam dab into my mind; let it soothe your mind if you are in a place of doubting or confusion or perplexity. Just read the words to the King is coming and allow Jesus to keep you company for just a while.

Trivia: He pulled out his hair, threw himself on the ground and refrained from eating because of sin; who is this?

The King is Coming
(Bill Gaither)

Praise God, He’s coming for me

The marketplace is empty, no more traffic in the street
All the builder’s tools are silent, no more time to harvest wheat
Busy housewives cease their labor, in the courtroom no debate
Work on earth has been suspended as the King comes through the gate

Happy faces line the hallway, those whose lives have been redeemed
Broken homes He has mended, those from prison He has freed
Little children and the aged hand in hand stand all a-glow
Who were crippled, broken, ruined, clad in garments white as snow

Chorus:
The King is coming, the King is coming
I just heard the trumpet sounding and soon His face I’ll see
The King is coming, the King is coming
Praise God, He’s coming for me

I can hear the chariots rumble, I can see the marching throng
And the flurry of God’s trumpet spells the end of sin and wrong
Regal robes are now unfolded, heaven’s grandstands all in place
Heaven’s choir is now assembled, start to sing “Amazing Grace”

Repeat Chorus (x2)

Praise God, He’s coming for me, for me, for me

Your post is good. Let me give you some good encouragement. You have been born again. You will be raptured and caught up to be with the Lord (1 Thes 4:16;17). At the end of the tribulation you will follow Jesus, along with the saints, to rule and reign with Him during the 1000 year reign of Christ, the Millennium (Rev 19:11-14; 20:6. Keep up the good work.

  2. Isn’t it exciting to know at any moment this may happen? And the song excites me every time I sing it. Thank you!!!

I’ll take a guess on the trivia question. King David. God forgave him for the sin of adultery, but as a consequence, God said David’s son would die. David thought he could change God’s mind by begging in prayer and not eating. When God didn’t change His mind, and King David’s son died, he immediately got up, washed himself and went to the table and ate.

No it was the Prophet Ezra “And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied”. Read Ezra 9:3.
