God: touch with our infirmities; amazes us with His response.
John 11:33(KJV) “When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled”.
I have other siblings and one thing I realized after living to this age is that siblings tend to be very competitive in trying to one up each other or accomplish that which another has achieved. Sometimes it is healthy competition, yet if taken in the wrong way can cause conflict and separation.
What does that have to do with anything concerning this verse of scripture you might be asking yourself right now; if you know the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead or even have followed the story of Mary and Martha; Martha was cumbered about the cares of life while Mary was contented to sit at Jesus’s feet and learn anything He was willing to impart to her willing ears.
With that said, Martha approached Jesus upon His arrival at the death of Lazarus and the words He spoke to her was staunch and supportive; encouraging her faith to another level. In the alternate, when He comes upon Mary, she was able to break and trouble the spirit of God to the point where he groaned within Himself, and immediately He was prompted into action for the task which He came.
Beloved, what I am trying to tell you is that the way you approach God has a lot to do with your breakthrough in situations you are dealing. If you have a deep need that HAS to touch the heart of God, become broken, lay it all on the altar of sacrifice; release yourself so that you can release your problem; let it all hang out before Jesus.
If you need a rapid and thorough breakthrough, don’t rationalize your situation or even debate with God; you can’t He is the master of wisdom. Just become broken; cry out, “I have some thoughts on how this should go, but Jesus, Jesus, Jesus: I need you”. Let Him know that your intellect, your wisdom, your understanding, your knowledge is pure foolishness when contrasted to His own; His way of fixing a situation is totally superior seeing that He is the Supreme God. Let Him know that it is His way or no way at all.
Let God know that you appreciate His method of problem solving and it is what you crave more than anything else in the world. Let God know you are willing to be a Mary in His sight.
Let Him know. Tell Him how you truly feel. Tell Him.
