God:is life; can resurrect; can restore, can make it right
John 11:23-25(KJV) Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live”.
How many times have you heard that statement in your life; heard a preacher pouring out his heart and inclusive in his words are the ancient words of Jesus, which are somehow more relevant today?
How many times have you been in a predicament so dire that you thought your very life was in jeopardy and by some maneuvering in the spirit realm Jesus sent a verse of His word for you to hold unto and you did with bated breath and a vise like grip?
How many times the life of someone near and very dear to you was hanging in the balance and you decided to storm the gates of heaven with nothing in your heart but sorrow and the Word of God where you threw them down at Jesus feet and said, “Jesus, you said, now manifest it”.
Desperation makes us say sentences which come across in a bad, sometimes obscene, but desperate manner to the listeners.
As believers we underestimate the power we have within us: Jesus told her “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live”.
Now he is saying the same thing to you: no matter what is dead, has been dead; wants to be dead; Jesus is saying, “I am the resurrection and the life”:
Your spiritual life: live
Your broken down marital life: live
Your broken and destroyed family relationships: live
Your body from too much abuse and sickness: live
Your mind which is under constant attack: live
Your emotions which have been desensitized: live
Your church, your neighborhood, your government: live in the name of Jesus
Live, because He who was resurrected and sent His spirit to dwell within us, calls forth divine life for that which has been pronounced dead by the enemy; Jesus is declaring and calling it forth to life again; He is making a statement to all things in your life which are wrapped in dead cloth; grave cloth; permeated with the scent of death to loose your hold and live.
Jesus ended His conversation with this beloved sister with the question: do you believe?
I also ask you today; do you believe that Jesus is, can, will allow **** to live?
