God: delightful, wonderful and amazing
Psalm 37:4,5 (KJV) “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass”.
How delightful it is when you are struggling with a situation or events in your life; things seem to be going south in a most rapid speed which you cannot control. Almost like driving a vehicle downhill when the brakes gives way and you obviously start to panic.
Then suddenly the car through no effort on your part verge to the side of the road and stops suddenly; mysterious yet true in its occurrence, but the evidence eludes the grasp of human minds because it isn’t tangible.
This is a delightful experience of God bringing it to pass in a most marvelous way to effect the saving of lives. You cannot fathom it, yet is happening before your eyes; all you did was trust in God with your entire mind, body and soul in that snap moment before you saw your life flashing before your eyes.
When God gives us a promise the exemplary thing about Him is that He does not have to justify, and we cannot identify how He is going to do it, but I guarantee that when it does happen, it won’t be how you thought it would come to pass.
When His Word tells you to delight yourself in Him, oh my word, try thinking of getting several different gifts in a period of months and it’s not your birthday, anniversary or any special occasion. This is how our Lord and Savior treat us as we delight in His presence; with Him it can be fun, there can be trials but the specialty is when He brings you out of it and you wonder if it could be possible.
Then you have no choice but to trust Him because it can be no one else but HIM.
Trivia: Although he had a great and major destiny to fulfill, the Lord would have killed him because he didn’t follow a covenant agreement, who is this?
