There are some verses in scripture which if you pay close attention you see a deeper meaning which could have eluded or have just passed over your head upon viewing previously. Such is the case with this verse which just about jumped out at me as I read the chapter.
Seeking for a desired result is something we as humans do on a consistent basis, yet you would not think that you are instructed to diligently pursue peace. You might have, but I didn’t up to this point recognize the seriousness and intention to seek and ask God for peace to reign on a consistent basis for instance, where you live, where you work, wherever you visit.
The possibilities are endless with seeking this peace in our surroundings and not settling for disturbance, trauma, gunshots, killings and murders. I wonder how many of us will want to apply the unction to activate this relevant entity for our lifestyles today?
Just remember God will honor when you ask Him.
