God: a strong tower; force to be reckoned with; unstoppable
Psalm 27:1-2 (KJV) “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell”.
It’s so funny that no matter how charming you are, you might have the greatest disposition and the traits of a nun, but there are always people who will disdain you and hate you for just those nice qualities.
You might have been in line to be the next Mother Teresa, yet that doesn’t count for anything as far as some folks are concerned, you just have a mark of hatred on your forehead as far as they can perceive and they make it their duties to retaliate with the full force of their abilities.
Life can be quite challenging when you are faced with such dilemmas, but the best measure to show yourself true and overcome this as the Psalmist is saying is to trust in the Lord to be your “light and your salvation”. The issue of fear when dealing with these situations becomes a moot point because even before those, who are your enemies can come upon you, they will stumble and fall.
Though you might look as an attractive target to some, they will not rise up nor overcome you; they shall not even come close to your person, because the Light is with you.
I don’t know if I can get somebody who is being disadvantage or downtrodden today to believe that it is possible to live in divine intervention so that when you state, “God has my back” it is mandatory that things will start to happen in your life.
Be blessed and stay anointed in God.
