I win the battle over chaos…

Spiritual warfare

God:my hero; overcomer of odds

Psalm 46:1 (KJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Today it might seem that Murphy’s Law is in effect in your life today wherein “everything that could possible go wrong will go wrong”. The kids acting up, the spouse just in a zone by themselves, the appliances decide to listen to someone else, the car refuse to run with the keys made for it; you ran the traffic light on the way to work, there was a cop parked right on the corner after the light, you get to work more than an hour late.

My goodness, everything that could operate against you did and the bad thing is “you allowed it to continue”.

That’s the story of many people’s life today: you hear stories of one bad experience after happening in quick succession with no foreseeable break in between; what can a person do? As a believer, your senses have to be at high alert for the operation of unusual occurrences and as soon as you pick up a false pattern of behavior which could be indicative of an attack from the spiritual realm, then a deeper invocation of and indulgence of the presence of God is needed.

Up the time spent in meditation, and diligently seek to know the mind of God in negating the “accidental occurrences”. The reading today assures us that it is an assurance and promise that God will be our refuge and our strength so seeking Him is the best way to activate Him fighting on our behalf.

I don’t know about you, but having my hero sure motivates me to be in this relationship.

Trivia: In speaking to God, he told God that He was perfect before him: who is this person?
