Psalm 113:5, 6 “Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth”!
The thought that God although He made us in His image and gave us a heart like His own, knew that it was pretty impossible for many of us to be exactly like Him is pretty sobering. Yet the most frightening part of this is that even though we are made in God’s image, we can be pretty unlike Him at times.
Scripture tells us that God is longsuffering towards us, great in mercies and love toward the sons of man and if we can search our lives and our behaviors, those attributes are very far from us many times when it is needed. Can we judge ourselves and our motives today and identify the patterns in our behavior which differs quite to the left in our characters?
God, who is the creator of all things and needs no approval from man, loves us and still make the time to know everything about each one of us. No, He’s not too busy to defend my cause; and at the same time, He sees exactly what you need and has delegated a set of angels from His throne with the resolution.
What, we can’t take the time out of our busy schedule to focus on something not pertaining to our small little world?
Beloved my pray today is, “God help us and save us from our cages of self imposed importance”.
