Psalm 77:11, 12 (KJV)
“I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work and talk of thy doings”.
At the best of days it can be very miserable, trying and exhausting to the point that your spirit and soul wants to distance itself from your body and fly away into some beautiful sunset; but there is something called hindsight. Memory of others who have been taken early or without any warning and the words “thank you Jesus” comes to mind.
Anybody ever been in that place which I am referring? The cares of life seem more than you can take on your shoulder and you just feel tired. But did you know that scripture tells us, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22 KJV). It is a problem if you don’t know the verse, but when those feelings of wanting to disappear into the blue yonder, feelings of having no resting place for your mind and body, as if this world has lost its appeal and you know for a fact that you didn’t receive any new direction from God otherwise, then I believe it is at such a time Holy righteousness is necessary.
It is at such a time that a Christian needs to rise up and declare the gates of hell shall not prevail against your spirit until it is decreed by God otherwise; somebody needs to proclaim that it is Jesus whom you live and breathe and no other entity has a right to give successful orders in opposition to the ordinances of God over your life. Somebody should ask the Holy Spirit for the boldness and grace to look out of the shadows which are trying to come into your soul and wage strategic warfare.
Beloved, your life is worth much to God; in actuality He has vested interest in your final resting place; He has already placed a down payment on your soul. Don’t allow the adversary to trick you out of losing it or giving it away cheaply.
Trivia: He told a king NO and it cost him his life; who is this?

Confused by this one. Tired or terminal. Not sure which.

Tired – sight now today. Terminal – facing my own mortality. Sorry, couldn’t reply in one word.
