Psalm 8:4,5: “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour”.
Aren’t you happy with God? When I consider that in the scheme of things God esteems us and put great thought into creating us for His glory. He not only individualized each one of us, but intense preparation went into designing our parts and concepts and finalizing us to what we are today. After He did that, He looks at us and say, “well done”.
If anyone thinks to call you less than a work of art, you ought to be laughing like crazy because God already approved you, He sealed you in the physical and in the spiritual and considers you beautiful and it is only God who is the final authority on your life. So yes I am happy with God; not because of what He has done for me, but because He is an intelligent God who might be something sad with us for we don’t appreciation Him as much as He considers us.
Consider how you would feel if in a relationship with anyone, how sad it would be if they hug all the attention for themselves; you are then an afterthought in consideration to be treated as a partner in the relationship. That can be contrasted to how we treat God at times; it’s all about our needs and less about worship and adoration for Him.
The psalmist asks, “what is man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him”?
Beloved imagine that: God loves us, He is crazy about us; can we not in some way earnestly show Him that He is appreciated more than we are doing right now?
