Psalm 28:6-7 “Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed”.
I think we need to stop what we are doing right now and start to give God some crazy praises right where we are for about seven minutes; you are asking why, right? Well to be honest, we don’t need a reason to praise God; He is the only person I know who is “Praiseworthy”, you just think about Him and praise pop into your heart.
But according to my Word reading of the day, we can start to bless the Lord right about now because that “thing” you been crying out to Him for; beseeching Him’ and beating Him up telling Him that He’s treating you like the bastard child. Well, He heard you, but was just waiting to see where your heart was and if you truly wanted what you were asking.
Now allow your heart to be at peace and let the peace which passeth all understanding flow over your being, because our God “who is able to do exceeding above what we ask or think, according to the spirit that dwelleth within us” (Eph 3:20) has shown up in our situation and everything that was stolen, lost or diverted in our lives is on track to be restored.
Just keep the praises going; love on your Lord as if He was a gift card to the Cheesecake factory. Praise God for He is big and is about to get bigger in our lives.
Trivia: This dude is a riot; he told God, “you tricked me: you are only winning this fight because you are bigger than I am”.
