Excerpt from song:
You have longed for sweet peace,
And for faith to increase,
And have earnestly, fervently prayed;
But you cannot have rest,
Or be perfectly blest,
Until all on the altar is laid.

In this world we live today, many of us are tormented, we are put upon by the adversary of our souls. We are not able to achieve “the peace of God which passeth all understanding”, but exist in a substandard level which can cause torment to ourselves, family, neighbors and the world at large.
Somewhere, somehow, we are crying out to God for our faith to increase, wherein we can tap into the grace of God, the promises of God, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit of God in our lives. We cry, we bawl, we roll around on our beds, we bruise our knees in our prayers to the Almighty God in the hope that MAYBE today is the day when the changes come to pass. Our prayers are hot, filled with tears, sobbing, soul-searching, honest in its intent and fury.
But yet there is no rest; our blessings are being handicapped, they are being waylaid. Much like Daniel in the book of the bible, “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia (Daniel 10: 12-13 KJV).
But as for me abiding in that situation, I got a WORD from the Lord God Almighty, that my perfect blessings is being held up, until I learn how to “place it all on the altar of sacrifice”: I held not back my peace, but I cried the louder and I shouted, Lord God Sabaoth, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I lift my eyes to you, from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from heaven and before your throne. Yes, Lord, I seek you for deliverance and deliverance is what I will receive.
Those that approach my soul to seek my harm, shall be destroyed by the Angel of the Lord, yes Lord, you shall be the lifter up of my soul; I shall not faint nor become weary; Hallelujah! God you say in your words that You make all grace to abound and I claim all things from you at all times, to abound to every good works and TODAY, I claim all that has been stolen from me. I see the thief in the spirit and I command you in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah to freeze in your actions of thievery and restore seven fold: my finances, my peace, my joy, my relationships, and my happiness. Hear the Word of the Lord, my adversary, you may have had your season in my life, but your time is UP in my life. I reclaim my destiny. Let the redeemed of the Lord “SAY SO”!!
Father, I lay it ALL on the altar of sacrifice; I open myself to you in the spirit; I place myself on your altar. Let the redeemed of the Lord “SAY SO”!!
