Daily Inspiration – Psalm 15:1-3

Psalm 15:1-3 “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour”.

Jesus has granted a mandate that all men should accept the gift of salvation; this is an invitation that will not be accepted by all and some of us will lose our lives as a result of lack of action.

There isn’t a need for just any action, but the right actions as indicated by His Word.  It is a requirement that we live holy; be honest and upright; live a righteous life, at home, and when you are away from religious scrutiny.  At times we seek to fight our own battles, but we need to concentrate on living a righteous existence and you will see how the Lord God Sabaoth, the God who will fight, yes He will rise up and fight on your behalf.

Abide in God’s tabernacle, allow Him to do the best for you and to you; trust Him with your doubts and your beliefs. Trust Him and see what He is able to do for you because beloved, He can do it all. Trust Him.

Trivia: God anointed this individual and gave him a surname although the individual did not know God, who is this person?
