Daily Inspiration – Psalm 144:1-4

Psalm 144: 1-4 “Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away”.

I know it feels at times in this relationship you have with Jesus, that you are walking on your own. Same like when you take into consideration your human relationships, times exist when you feel as if you are all alone, even though you are surrounded at times by people.

One, those time you feel as if your walk is being done all by yourself; chances are Jesus is carrying you along the walk;

Two, when you feel as if the battle is so hot you are just taking a licking every step of the way: He has taught your hands to do warfare already, so just apply the strategies he built into those fingers, because they are lethal spiritual weapons and watch your enemies flee from before you;

Three, the Psalmist is capable of using the following terms in describing God: goodness, fortress, high tower, deliverer, shield and trustworthy one, because he has tested and tried God and he always wins the battle when Jesus is in the equation.

Humble yourself, get away from self pity and absorb the strength of whom you are in Christ; utilize the amazing power and spiritual military arsenals you have at your disposal.

YOU are a spiritual weapon of mass destruction.
