Psalm 71:22-24 “Also with the lute I will praise You—And Your faithfulness, O my God! To You I will sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed. My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; For they are confounded, For they are brought to shame Who seek my hurt”.
Sometimes because of the severity of the attacks we suffer, both spiritually and physically, when our great break through comes, we look at it as blah; we think that we are not in a position to appreciate what we have begged and toiled for through tears, toil and long hours of prayer and communication with our heavenly Father.
Instead of shouting to the world of the goodness, we hold unto the memories of the different ways and people who participated in trying to demolish you when you were down; we focus on the betrayals and traps we had to fight our way out of.
Let me tell you right now: but for the Grace of God we would still be fighting, but He saw that enough was enough. Not another drop of your blood would be taken by those bloodsuckers; enough of your flesh has been eaten by those human vampires. Once and for all, Jesus is against you and I will start glorifying God for what He has given me.
Lord, I am thankful, I glorify you, I praise and I worship you, O God of my soul, thank you for being a bulwark and my strong tower. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus for reminding me that where I am going is better than where I have been. Thank you for your grace and blood which is still working on my behalf. Glory to your precious name. I will glory in your precious name, today, tomorrow and forever. Thank you that my latter end shall be better than my beginning.
Thank you for being “my Father, Abba, Father”.
