Daily Inspiration – Psalm 68:1,2

Psalm 68:1,2 “Let God arise,Let His enemies be scattered;Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire,So let the wicked perish at the presence of Go”.

Unfortunately, in the world we live in today we don’t have to do anything for people to consider us their enemies. At times we just have to exist in the same space as they do and this can put us under the direct influence of their hatred.  One Scripture says “know ye not that friendship with the world is enmity with God?” So if you have crossed the bridge and have a super delicious relationship with God, the hatred is magnified.

But fear not, for this friendship with God comes with benefits: you just need to invoke His name: Jesus. Things start to happen when you come under attack and the name comes into the equation.  Those that rise up against you start to run from you for no apparent reason, but thank God for the name.

So let me ask you today and ask yourself the question: who is your friend?

Trivia: He was so infatuated with his wife he named a feast after her….
