Psalm 58:10,11: “The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth”.
It can be trying at times to be turning the cheek continuously when there is a barrage of slaps upon your face; slap after slap, the enemy, it appears uses people to torment you without remedy it might appear at times. Guess what, doesn’t it feel better when your God whose name is Sabaoth: the God who answers by fire gets a wind of how you are treated takes up your case and addresses those who torment you?
Oh yes, take no thought into the wrongs done to you; God’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither his ear heavy that he cannot hear (Isaiah 59:1). Beloved, ride out the storm, ride out the tempest: leave it in God’s hand, he sees your pain and needs.
